The cello enclosure is a natural speaker enclosure with over 400 years of proven R&D. The box is naturally tuned to support a full range driver, going as low as any cello: 50 hz. and up to 20khz.

• With a smooth frequency response, natural bass, mids and highs, our Cello Speaker "disappears": not adding to or taking away from the music, regardless of the type of music you play. You will hear female voice, orchestra, rock or electronic sound their most natural, effortless and musical on these beauties.

• Our Cello Speaker uses a Fostex full-range 6" driver specifically modified to reduce "shout": the tendency for full range drivers to focus the mids-high frequencies, making them seem louder than the midrange or bass. Our soundstage is properly balanced, keeping the "sweet-spot" broad and off-axis distortions low.

• Because it uses a full range driver, it has no crossover, no power loss, no colorations or phase shifts. Nothing to interfere with the music from the amp to your ears.

• They are great for low power tube amps and high power solid state amps: they are detailed, dynamic and smooth.

• For some tube amps we recommend an additional Zobel impedance matching network to keep your output transformer "happy"--on some amps, it can make an audible difference.

• Silver/copper internal speaker wire. (Can be upgraded to all silver internal speaker wire).

• All copper binding posts. (Can be upgraded to silver binding posts)
